Let me put some knowledge on you so you can flaunt that nightie like you mean it.
Listen. When you got cute lingerie and no one to wear it for, you just gotta do it for yourself and wear it for the world. Sorry I blessed you.

Lingerie started to make it’s way to the public’s eye in the 1500s during the reign of Catherine de’ Medici. It is believed that Medici had banned thick waists at court and set the trend for the next 350 years. As a result, she had pioneered the corset, constricting a woman’s bust and waist to “beautify” herself. Tightly bound and highly restricting, the garment ensured the idea of a passive and modest woman to better conform to a male-dominated society.
However, as the working woman surfaced we saw a tremendous change in fashion. Women cast aside their daring sex appeal in order to gain a better standing in the working field. *COUGH* Sexism *COUGH* Fuck men *COUGH SO MUCH*
My homegirl, Madonna, then stepped onto the stage with cone tits! Love her. So much. During her Blonde Ambition tour, she sported an iconic pink corset and cone bra. Sending shocks and horror to my girls of Jesus. We swear we read the bible every night. #SHOOK
As the image slowly caught on to high fashion and celebrities, the once risqué getup was no longer. Put anything on a Kardashian and watch that shit spread like wildfire.
Wear a little slippy slip under your skirt and have the lace peak through. Or pull out those garter belts and thigh-high fishnets, call me a Dangerous Woman. Then do Madonna some justice and pull up to the joint with a corset-style belt over a loosely fitted T-shirt/top and some pointed heels. Baby doll, ya’ll make my knees weak.
